myurbandreamso, yesterday seemed to be the day on which everyone decided to stay up late. the coincidence in that scares me a little. o__0
rhys came and spent time in studio with us yesterday, and he was still there, so far as i know, when i called it a night. i left studio at 3am last night (this morning, technically), intent on getting a shower and a few hours of sleep. as i walked by the dorms, i noticed jim's light was on in his room- upon calling him, i learn that he has been awake all night working and has a paper still to finish. i get up to my room to find that charissa is still awake as well, working determindely on a ten-page paper that was due this morning- she won't be going to sleep any time soon.
how is it that whenever i want a bed to crash in for a few hours, as opposed to a sleeping bag under my desk, everyone is still awake!!!! *baffled*
right now i'm about to head over to the hilton for jim's iron chef competition. it's been a good day, and hopefully i'll get a lot done tonight after the competition is over- i'm skipping class, but oh well. actually, i goofed off a bit today and played a two-hour pick-up game of soccer on the south lawn. after the grading for systems was done, one of the guys brought out his ball and a few people started kicking it around. i joined in at about 11:30, and we didn't stop playing until after 1, which meant we arrived late and sweay to studio- yuck. i took a shower after that. but it was awesome- there must have been over twenty people on the field at any given time, and we kept rotating. i feel loads better- and it woke me up very well after dragging on three hours of sleep. but now my feet and legs are sore- i played barefoot. so~ooo fun, though. ^/____^
well, i gotta run. drabbles soon!!! hopefully i'll be done with my main model by tomorrow morning- i'm gonna pull another all-nighter. wish me luck!
