hahaha, timezones rule!!!! that happened to me when we went from new zealand to hawaii, but my poor little 4th-grade mind could not comprehend the weirdness of humanity that is time zones. oh, me.

but yes, the chinchilla breeding pair at zookeeper had two baby chinchillas last friday afternoon, and then on saturday the mom died, so cait volunteered to nurse the babies until they're weaned. one died on... sunday? yeah, sunday. but kinky is the other one! (s)he has a little kink at the end of his tail, so i call him kinky. he's so cute!!! but i'm worried about him, because he hasn't bee gaining any weight the past few days, and his nose is all crusty, and cait says that his breathing is a bit wheezy too. *pouts* don't die, kinky!!!
