hail all hallow's eve!!!
Oct. 29th, 2006 04:54 pmso who else loves the lj theme for halloween? *grin* i absolutely adore that little haunted house in the top right corner!!
i'm hoping halloween can be a happy holiday this year. i've already been to two hosted parties and two parties of an improptu nature, and this weekend has been fantastic. i love it here, being able to do whatever and not having to tell my parents, 'oh yeah, i'm going to this party, is that okay?' i definitely went to the beach last night, after the honors halloween party that ran from 8pm to midnight, with a group of about a dozen, no alcohol. we definitely got back at 5:20am not counting the time change!!!! (that's 6:20am, y'all) we had a fire on the beach, marchmellows/smores, and ~17 shooting stars in the clearest sky i've seen in years. it was fantastic!!!! and i've been to house of pies a lot now too; we went there after the arch party, since pretty much everyone there was drunk, and our group is not cool with hangovers. but hooboy this weekend has rocked. well, except for the waste of time and money that constituted my attempt to pay my inspection sticker ticket fee. *frustrated*
well, i've a bit of algebra homework to do, but right now i'm about to play smash with jim and preston. we've been watching avatar all morning. *grin* my bf is as big a geek as i am. kay, going now!!!! i'm getting pretty good at playing link, to the point where i can generally beat the comp players on level 9. i'm smokin!!! and then jim kicks my butt. *eyeroll* it's worse when he gets me to play james bond, cause then all the guys are just waiting at the spawn points to kill me and take my weapons. those.... aww, they're adorable, i can't yell at them. le sigh....
