i feed snakes!!!!

i miss my girls... bought 10 pinkies today from zookeeper's- pinkies are 3-day old baby mice, btw- because the girls are supposed to eat one a week, and they've been eating on fridays. i fed kara first, and she kind of nudged the pinky a bit and then grabbed it around the middle. of course she ate it butt first. *eyeroll* katrina actually struck at her pinky!!! mostly cornsnakes don't do that, so far as i've seen- ball pythons tend to strike at their food, even when frozen-thawed, but i've never seen or heard of a cornsnake doing that. she struck twice at the head.... and then turned around and started eating from the butt as well. o__O making it harder on herself, and that little baby mouse is twice as big around as she is!!!!


.... they're so cute!!! *squee* the sad thing is that after they eat i can't really play with them. but it's my bed-time anyway. ^/____^ *yawns*
