myurbandreamwe just can't find them. *grins* so studio has been awesome recently. we had a project in arch, due yesterday, that was called 'colors in nature'; it was a color wheel composed of completely natural elements. we had, among other things, mulch, flowers, cactus pear, mccaw feathers, bits of blue shrimp, and various other sundry fruits, vegetables, and spices. frickin paprika! it got stuck all over in my fingers and stung like crazy, and then it was under my nails so everything i ate tasted like paprika for the rest of the day. and tumeric! it made my fingers swell up, and i wiped my cheek once on accident and then my cheek started burning up. jeez! what is it with my major and discovering new and unusual allergies?!
but my weekend was in general even more awesome. i spent at least 12 hours per day in studio working on my shadow box, but it turned out awesome, so i'm not complaining. i think sara has pictures up on facebook, or maybe myspace. and the football game was fantastic!!!! i definitely was covered in paint and hanging over the railing on the first row. i did all the paint for the bleacher creatures, the people who spell out 'go coogs' on their chests. (coincidentally, they also had 'osu suxx' on their backs for this game. sara is still hoarse from screaming; we won 35-24 or some such. this weekend was fantastic!!!
and then last night jim put windows on my laptop and got the internet working. *rejoices* it is the crappy laptop of doom, with less than 5gig of space, and i named it TheBlackDeath, but it's working better than my desktop right now (as in, it's working), and at least i'm not mooching internet off of anyone else anymore. yay!!!! so jim is fantastic, and deserves to be worshipped forever. ^/____^ also, i am both gullible and ignorant, and jim is a horrible horrible player. *smacks him* i was trying to describe what was wrong with my desktop and he's all, 'oh, it's totally...' and he was definitely making it all up, but did i know that? nope. (i should kill him, but it was just after this that black death was resurrected, so i didn't.)
anyway, i have a presentation to give on thursday for which i have totally not finished the book, and i have my redos to do in studio. *hates* but i ate a salad, and i am on my own computer, so i am content. *grins* yay for internet!!!!!!
