man, i can barely type right now. backspace is my friend. just because i got almost 16 hours of sleep last night, that doesn't mean i'm not recovered from this week. and i almost was late to finish the last project i had due today. but i just turned it in, with half an hour to spare. whew!
so, i never did finish my studio project, but our structures model looked badass, if i do say so myself. and i liked our skit, it was funny- michael came up with it pretty much last minute.... so it was just as dorky and aweful as everyone else's. *rueful* anyway, griffin said he and the other professor both liked my model a lot- and i'm really proud of it, too. but it didn't have a base- i borrowed a study from three studios down via sara, just to have something to put it on for our jury. and my section model was still in pieces. i feel awful- griff's a great professor and i really hate to disappoint him. i was so excited about this project too. it sucks. and then my drawings turned out really wierd- i should have done a test print on the plotters, because they read layers and lineweights and tones differently than the basic b-size lab printers,s o my regular test prints looked fine, but my final drawings had all kinds of little mistakes in them. it was really disappointing. *mopes*
but i'm done- no more class for the rest of the year and i move back for spring semester on the 10th at the earliest; classes start on the 14th i think. a bunch of us went to thai cottage and sara's house today- me, sara, sarah, dennise, kathryn, sana, and melissa- and watched the movie 'hairspray'. i was expecting it to be just okay, which i guess it was, but i liked it. i was in the mood for an action movie though- i wanted to watch transformers or i robot or one of the bourne movies, none of which i've seen. but i got voted down, and we only had time for one movie.
sadly, i feel like i still can't relax, even though i'm totally gonna sleep for forever again tonight. but i have a little list of things to do:
-look for scholarships (again- apparently you can never have enough. thank you, tuition spike.)
-find my frickin' history book that got lost in the mail from amazon
-study for my two exams
-go to austin on wednesday
-see 'golden compass' at the midnight release
-houston junior ballet's nutcracker on the weekend
-get a copy of my records from student financial services
-balance my bank accounts (something happened like two months ago and now my balance and the bank's balance are over a hundred dollars apart....)
-finish my studio project
-look for a gyno to visit (first time ever.... *nervous*)
-...
...i know there's more, and it's written down somewhere, i just can't think of it all. -____-'
.... i never did do anything for nanowrimo.
