Resume: there are great templates online. If you haven't had many jobs, list any sports or clubs you were/are in whenever. Be sure to list volunteer activity and your GPA (if it's high, which I'm sure it is). Use Times New Roman font, size 12... hmmm... yeah. Just google for templates.
INTERVIEw: If your resume isn't that great this is your chance. 1) Dress professionally, even if that's not what you'll be wearing when you work there. Have CLEAN SHOES and don't let your pants hem drag or look nasty. Carry a nice bag and set it on the floor beside you- never in your lap, never on the table in front of you. 2) 10 minutes early, at least. Scope out the place beforehand so you don't get lost or can't find parking. If you arrive 'on time', you are late. 3) Have questions prepared. Do some research into the company, it shows you're interested and employers love that. 4) Bring a copy of your resume and a recommendation or two- from past employers or professors. Have it in a nice folder or binder. 4) You're not stupid, so I don't have to tell you to be polite and stuff. ;)
