snow. it's snowing. SNOWING, i tell you!!!! i haven't seen real snow in three years!!!!! bwahahahaha!!!!!
but seriously, the last few days were kind of disappointing. i forget how much wisconsin looks like the texas hill country. the only snow was patches here and there, all dirty from car exhaust and surreptitiously melting because it was like 45F outside. but when i woke up this morning there was a little bit of dust coming down, and it hasn't stopped. there's a strong wind from the east, so it's not falling just straight down, it's blowing way the heck sideways, but it's still building up in drifts. we're supposed to have accumulated 6-12 inches by the end of the day. woot!!!!
i just put new batteries in my camera, but i'm gonna wait a few hours before i take pictures, let it build up some.
....i have physics homework. and an easter ham. dang it.
EDIT: only two days left until i can read fanfiction. *tears of joy*

Date: 2008-03-22 08:28 am (UTC)I was up in Wisconsin once...in the middle of the summer...and it was cold. I was like WTF?
Then again, Missouri has its own share of weird weather.
We're supposed to be striking because the new owners of LJ want to commercialize it. No more free accounts. They also want to stifle the fanfiction content on LJ.
Re: 'Ey!

Date: 2008-03-23 08:31 am (UTC)I doubt they'll cancel you. They'll prolly just bump you up to plus, which means you'll have ads on your page.
