myurbandream | why'd you have to go and let it die....

so. today i registered for summer courses. at acc there are three "semester" options- whole summer, first half, or second half. i intended to choose the "first half" option, which means i would take all of a semester class in 5.5 weeks, starting next week and finishing the beginning of july or thereabouts. BUT the only available class then was way the crap downtown, and i was hoping to take classes at the cypress creek campus which is like ten minutes from my house. so i signed up for the classes at cypress creek that are in the "second half" semester- july 7th to august 12th. i pray that the fall semester at uh starts after that. o__0

ALSO!!! i went to see prince caspian the other night- with ten other people, some of whom i haven't seen since i graduated high school. movie was amazing, and hanging out until 4am with old friends was even better. i only wish i'd thought to bring my camera so that i could get pictures of everyone. melissa wasn't there, nor rey, nor alex or kiki, but everyone else was in attendance. that was: bri n sav, manny, matt, rhian and rachel, jay, me n cait, alecia, and anne. it was loads of fun- we need to hang out again this summer. preferably at the pool, since it's officially heating up to a real texas summer now. yay, summer!! and the movie was good- characters were pretty much spot-on, as was the plot. well, mostly- they took out a bunch of character development scenes and replaced the lost 45 minutes with a completely fabricated battle scene at the telmeraine castle, but despite that the movie was excellent. the, uh, vibe or whatever, the feel of the movie, the way it impacts the audience, that ws also completely true to the book, which i think is pretty impressive.

ugh. cait left a dead mouse in the snake cages overnight- pro'ly edamaru didn't eat his and she forgot to check the cages. it smells awful in the back room.

..... yeek. okay, eda AND blossom left their rats alone. yuck. kaa-san and i got 'em out just now, and i've lit six candles in there and opened the windows- let's hope that's enough to flush the stench out. gro~oss........... |P
