Well, bunking with a friend is a good idea for the time when you'll need it. It's only a couple of months, right? Get a futon mattress. Don't sleep on a couch that long. Then, when you move into your own place, save some spot for a futon couch and then reuse the mattress you were sleeping on. After a few years, get a couch that will actually fit your interior design plan. ME
