last day of class omg!!!!!!

myurbandreamtoday is the last day of classes!!!!! then three days of finals and... the END!!!! so, i'm turning in all my school books during lunch, and i brought my english book, which we've used maybe three or four days this year. *eyeroll* anyway, i was looking back thorugh the book and found a cool poem we looked at once, which i don't know if i've put up here or not.... so here it is:
The Death of a Ball Turret Gunner

From my mother's sleep I fell into the State
And I hunched in its belly till my wet fur froze.
Six miles from earth, loosed from its dream of life,
I woke to black flak and the nightmare fighters.
When I died they washed me out of the turret with a hose.
(flak: acronym of the German word FLiegerAbwehrKanone, the antiaircraft shells fired at bombers from the ground during wwii.)
we're in gov't watching star wars!!!! ep iv, startign at the beginning, b/c sophi hasn't seen any star wars at all. or xmen. poor sophi, she's more deprived of usa culture than i am, and that's saying something!!! well, right now i'm on a stargate kick. specifically.... daniel. he is the best character EVER!!!! *puddles* okay, too distracted by the movie to type. bye!!!
