no, actually- i'm using white trace paper (aka butter paper) which is translucent and very smooth, so the charcoal doesn't stick at all. i can wipe it almost completely clean with a firm brush of my hand, which is why it's so fun and useful for concept diagramming, but problematic when i produce something worth keeping. i might need to invest in something sturdier like construction paper for that.

lent took me completely by surprise this year; i didn't realize until monday that it was coming up, and yesterday i kept thinking it wasn't wednesday yet. (which is why i went to an evening mass... silly me.) i hope my weekend doesn't fly by this quickly!
