managed to get to campus without loosing anything!!! yay!!! i just checked and i have all my boxes and bags that were on my list. but the drive still took forever. i hate moving. >___<
but! rather than unpack (which i still haven't done) i went to my first college party last night. *facepalm* well, first official college party, as i don't think the honors ball or hallowe'en party count. i was dd (a designated driver) so i didn't drink, but for reference, my friend sara had: a margarita, half a strawberry daquiri, half a smearnof, half a shiner, and most of a miller chill. she's a hard liquor and wine kind of girl, so they weren't doing much for her, which was upsetting because she'd just crashed her car the day after her birthday and really wanted to get drunk. woobie sara.... and jim was there- actually i came as his guest, and he came as a guest of rhys, who was the only actual honors retreat counselor there, at the honors retreat counselors' party. *lol* but since i was driving him, he helped himself to the other half of sara's smearnof and shiner, a margarita and 3 daquiris. and maybe there was some more in there that i didn't see. he was a bi~it tipsy! but he's a cute drunk (sara's a floppy drunk, and apparently kathryn is a funny drunk, though i haven't seen it).
so, it was cool, i actually had a good time chilling on the couch with a 7up chatting with the girls, and i wouldn't mind repeating the experience. *amazed*
anyway, now i have to unpack. yuck. chari and i are kind of living in limbo because we only have one desk chair, no pegs to bunk the beds, no fridge or tv or microwave since chari left them at home, and no space to open up the bookshelf. joy. and classes start tomorrow!!! *weeps* i had a nice, lazy sunday morning, went to catholic mass and ended up joining the choir, and now i have to unpack everything.... -_____-' ah, well.
things missing from last semester (most likely in the box that i lost coming home last spring):
spot the cpu
heels i bought at macy's for the honors ball
blue and green fleece blankets
