...owwie. my brain hurts.
so, physics is hard. -___-' also it doesn't help that in the past seven class days we've covered four chapters. stupid 5-week class and its stupid four-hours-a-day classes. i mean, seriously, i'm already more than a fourth of the way through this 'semester' and we're only half-way through week two. how do people learn like this?????
well, granted the system apparently works, since people keep doing it. and i'm somehow muddling through. it would probably be easier if i bought the book instead of just photocopyinh the homework problems from meghan's textbook like i've been doing. but, seriously- $120 for a book i'll only need for 5 weeks? that's ridiculous. (and they don't buy back for more than half-price!) ...it would probably make studying a bit easier, though.
first quiz tomorrow, and thank the lord we're allowed an index card for notes, cause otherwise i'd be screwed. i've done four chapters-worth of homework in the last three days, and now i'm studying for the quiz by having cait pick out random questions that i haven't done. the scary thing is that apparently we don't cover all the material in class, because three or four times now i've encountered a question that asks me something i have no idea how to answer. not just that i don't know how to apply what i've learned, but that it actually asks something that we haven't covered in class. another indication that the textbook may become necessary. we'll see how i do on this quiz before i go to such drastic lengths, though.
i can't wait for real college to start again. and that's so depressing to think about.
