i am currently sitting in the alamo ritz on 6th street in austin, four minutes from the start of hobbit feast.

lol, it's only like the geekiest thing short of a con. alamo drafthouse puts on all three lord of the rings movies in a row, and serves a swven-course hobbit feast along with it: breakfast, second breakfast, elevensies, luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner, and supper, all with drink pairings.

we just finished fellowship of the ring and the first three courses.

Sounds intense. Are they big courses or small ones? DO YOU STARVE YOURSELF BEFOREHAND SO YOU CAN EAT ALL SEVEN?
