myurbandreamkiza is a wonderful, wonderful goddess!!!!!! *squee*
i have a project due tomorrow in studio, and i can't do it during the day b/c i have class pretty much solid from 9am onwards. and i could be working on it right now, except i figured out that if i photocopy the plans i have at 250% then i can just trace the whole thing out in like ten minutes flat, rather than the two-plus hours it would take me to work out each individual dimension. so i think: bugger that! but the library copier only goes to like 114%, and besides which they closed, and i have no clue where the nearest kinko's is. so i'm destined to hours and hours of extra work. but wonderful, wonderful kiza works in the records room upstairs, and they have a copier, and she has a key. she said that when she gets back on campus later tonight, she'll open up the room and let me use the copier. joy!!! rapture!!!! excellence!!! squee!!!!!!!!!

so now i'm in jim's room, watching him and preston play super smash bros and beat the proverbial crap out of each other. it's nice..... i haven't seen jim all day, but he came and sat with me in studio for a few minutes and it really cheered me up. i could finally focus on my work, and that's when i really started understanding all that crap kirkland had been saying about scales and stuff during class. too bad i didn't get that, say, three or four hours ago. *eyeroll*
so my day is looking up. the boys are doing free-running around campus later tonight- there will be photos up on facebook later, for those interested. *grin* i have to be there to make sure that if one of them cracks their skull, they get to the hospital before they bleed out. but if they do, they are totally not getting flowers or cookies for like the first week.
