back from nerd camp
Aug. 18th, 2006 09:27 pmomg the honors college rocks SO HARD!!!!!!! *dies* i'm on lauren's computer, lauren being one of the friends that i actually talked with and hung with omg!!!!!! i met people! and we talked about stuff!! it helps that, y'know, honors college: all geeks. lauren has internet, therefore i love her. i'm going through withdrawal or something. i could rant for hours about all the awesome friends i made and how utterly cool they are..... but i won't, b/c, not my computer. oh! we have a suitemate now! anna, not jennifer. *eyeroll* oh yeah, so me and chari moved in wednesday and spent six hours cleaning omg. the place was disgusting. we have a list of things, including condom wrappers, pubic hairs, urine stains, and cockroach guts, which got cleaned out of the bathroom. and the room itself was almost as disgusting. my mom is a goddess. she spent four hours cleaning the bathroom with our help. our suitemates, of course, were not here yet. *headdesk*
ANYWAY! so, geek camp was awesome. i met a bunch opf upperclassmen who are totally as nerdy as i am... and btw, we were in groups organized by candy names. i will never again look at candy the same way. *sighs* i am SUCH a freak-out awesomeness high right now. oh!!!! melissa: lauren knows everyone who works at TRenFest by name. (!!!!!!!) she camps. she knows the members of TARTANIC by name. they invite her to their concerts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (that's the drums cd i gave you.) so, seriously, come camp at renfest with us. *dies*
oh, btw, the opening line of dr cook's keynote speech was: 'well, i wish i could get up here and tell you about sex like dr. estess, but at my age, there really are some things that are ancient history.' omg my professors are so awesome!!!!! they have, among other things: bargained with a mugger, lit a kitchen, a cat and themselves on fire, worked in a carnival, caught a hammerhead shark using only shrimp for bait, and been trailed by the governemt for being suspected as communists. *snerk* u of h rocks. *squees*
okay, i'll get off lauren's internet connection now. i just, really, had to post. *pants* withdrawal!!!!! and also, i needed to share that. kay, i'm really done now.
