myurbandream | operation "this will most likely end badly" is a go

so, um, yeah. y'know those rumors that arch students don't sleep? definitely fulfilling those right now. *exasperated w/ self* i was in studio for a good portion o/ the day ~~today~~yesterday.

so we came back f/m jim's house at around 4.30pm, i had dinner at chile's w/ a bunch o/ other ppl, and then i went back to studio. i was there all night. there were a souple other pplaround, but by around 1am it was just my, melissa, ethan from studio ii, and adam the graphic design major. adam is making a clay sculpture of his own head; it's pretty interesting- he's on the ears and eyes now. *grin* ethan was supposedly working on the design soncept of their next project in second year, but really he was there to bug adam. it got nice and quiet for a while, and then melissa went to house of pies and brought back goodies. i had banana cream pie, and oh boy, it had an actual banana in the bottom. all i have to say to that is YUM. well, it was getting late, but i was making a lot of progress, then everyone left at around 3.30, and i was thinking about heading back myself. actually, i wanted to stay longer and start gluing my model together, but at about 4am brian came back from a frat party completely trashed, so i asked him to 'escort' me back to the dorms at 4.45. *eyeroll* that boy... granted, he has good reason to be depressed and want to get drunk- his girlfriend of 3yrs broke up with him ~2wks ago, and it turns out she's been sleeping w/ other guys for months or something. sucky much? anyway, we got back here at ~5am, and i hopped in the shower to wash off the paint and sawdust f/m the day. still not tired- i had two diet cokes with lunch on saturday.

i should definitely go back to studio today. what with the model due at 3.30p monday, and paper #2 due in human sit at noon, i have plenty to do for the remainder o/ this weekend. but i went to so much trouble to make this weekend work out to go to trf, that i'd feel absolutely worthless if i didn't go today. well, if it were just me going, i'd probably stay on campus and do my frickin work, but w/ ~~four~~five other ppl involved, i just don't wanna back out, not now. *frustrated* so i guess i just won't sleep this weekend, or at least not until after i turn in my model on monday afternoon. i have to go back to shop, cause i cut some more pieces wrong- i already recut 4 o/them, dangit- but shop is open today 12-5pm, and then monday morning at 8am. guess where jenny will be during sunday shop hours? yep, at trf. so that means i have to wait until monday to go in at 8, recut those three pieces, paint them, glue the rest of my model together, sand it, touch it up, and turn it in. let's not foret, of course, human sit lecture at noon, during which my paper is due. yippy-kai-yay. *suffers*

all in all, my life is over.

ps- the weather has been beautiful recently, especially this weekend, which is great since there were masive tstorms predicted, and we were under tornado watch f/ a couple hours earlier this week. it just started raining out now (it's 6.46am, by balckdeath's clock.) i just hope we get good weather f/ trf. it's pirate weekend, and i'm going in garb again- so are chari and jim and, i think, michael. it's SO exciting!!!!
