*grin* our house is getting re-roofed, so they've been up there banging away since 8 this morning. gotta admire that, i think. i mean, every day, there at 7.30 and ready to work at 8am until the job is done, generally a full 8 hours of backbreaking labor, and if you fall off the side... wow. well, i definitely didn't get to sleep in this morning. mom had to be to work at 8, so i ended up getting the kids up and ready for school. man, what a hassel! i don't think i can handle being a mom, it's too much work. ^/___^ so now i'm home alone, except for the dog, who is on high-alert mode because 'oh my god did you see did you see all those people they're in our yard what are they doing they're on our house that's our house oh my god what is all that stuff in our yard?!?!?!' poor girl. *smirk* eventually she'll give up on barking them away and just run from window to window making sure they don't try and come in to get me.
meanwhile, today is the first time i've gone without a coctail of drugs in the morning, and so far i feel fine. *amazed* well, i mean, i still have a sore throat, kinda, but not near as bad as it was even two days ago. and no headache, though i do have the coughing and congestion and crap. bleargh. and i actually wanted to eat breakfast. my appetite, oh, how i missed thee! so, this means, of course, i can catch up on all the chores i haven't been doing the past thirteen days that i've been bed-ridden. joy. *eyeroll*
hmmm.... it's gotta be cold up there, even moving around as much as they sound to be. i wonder if they want hot cocoa...... i wonder if i have enough cups.....
