when you gonna love you as much as i do...

i just woke up a few minutes ago from a good... i dunno, four, maybe? hours of sleep. nice long nap. i still have a bit of a headache, though, so maybe i'll curl up under the covers again. there's a very winter-y feel to my room. when i woke up i couldn't have told you the time- it was dark out, but in the winter the sky is dark by 7pm or earlier, and the sun is so far away that the after-dark light of moon and stars and city has a certain quality of... timelessness, i think. i mean that it's hard to say what time of night it might be, because the absence of the sun is so complete. right now i really like that feeling. i think it's one of the things i appreciate about the season, that timelessness that's created by the short days and long nights. it has a haunting beauty to it.

so anyway, all that is to say that i didn't know what time it was when i woke up, but i think it's been about four hours since i went to sleep. the sun was out then. now the sun is so gone that it feels like midnight. ^/____^ i'm probably just gonna go back to sleep, but i do have some rereadings to do for pols, so.... here i am. *sighs*

Sounds like you are just sleep monster-ing all over the place. I think it's spreading as I have been tired the last week and a half or so. I have been trying to finish the last paragraph of this bloody paper for the last 3 hours in class or so.I am now actually in the class in which it is due and I am posting on LJ :P With any luck I will get a clue and get it done. Well, guess I should get on that now.
